Over the course of the last few months Enterprising Doncaster has undertaken a review of it's Board structure and the  roles and responsibilities of it's members. The review considered the outcomes of the Doncaster Together review, changing conditions and strategic alignment with agreed priorities detailed in the Borough Strategy approved 29th November 2010 and the Economic Strategy approved 21st February 2011. To ensure the Board remains fit for purpose the structure of the Board in 2011/12 will reflect the three overarching themes detailed in the Economic Strategy; Economic Linkages, Common Economic Factors and Economic Drivers. The Chair and Vice Chairs will take lead responsibility for these areas below which a team of seven Economic Champions will focus on a specific area where Doncaster has recognised strengths, opportunties or challenges. The principles and structure were approved at the Board meeting held 25th March.
